Configuring Windows 95 Ethernet connection for Domain Name Service


Please print out these instructions and follow the steps on your computer.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY OTHER CHANGES TO YOUR CONFIGURATION THAN THOSE SPECIFIED IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

  1. Double-click the My Computer icon.
  2. In My Computer, double-click the Control Panel icon.
  3. In the Control Panel, double-click the Network icon.
  4. In the Network control panel, click on TCP/IP and then click on the Properties button.
  5. In the TCP/IP Properties window, click the DNS Configuration tab. Click on the previous DNS entries (129.118.1.1 & 128.83.185.41) and then click the Remove button. Next, type in the new DNS IP addresses 129.118.1.3 and 129.118.1.9 (click the Add button after each entry)
